Band Review: Fast Fox

I have only been able to listen to two songs for Fast Fox. Well, I guess it's actually two and a half. They have a lot more videos than that, as you can notice on their Youtube channel. Many of these videos are about "Drunky" or reference "puke".

This doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have more music. They have played gigs, which usually requires more of a repertoire, though a lot of it could be covers. Regardless, in terms of what they provide, the focus seems to be on getting drunk and barfing, possibly explaining their about statement on Facebook:

"Fast Fox: Humiliating our families since 2006"

I guess what I am getting at is that this band will not be for everyone. It seems like kind of a shame. The half song I referenced earlier was a musical clip called "Dreamscape" that was uploaded to Youtube two years ago. It is lovely, and indicates that they could do other things. Based on their upload from three months ago -- the music video for "Action" --- that's not the direction they're going.

I do hear some Blink-182 influence, a la "Feeling This" on "Action", and that's certainly a band that has gone to the immature side more than once.
